About Us
Our Story
Beginning as a General Merchant and feed supply store, Harvey Armstrong Ltd. has been a cornerstone in the Binbrook community for almost ninety years. In 1984, Harvey Armstrong Ltd., was moved to the current Highway 56 location, where Larry and Doug continued to grow the business to include more pet, wild bird, and garden products.
As the community of Binbrook continued to grow, they knew they needed to continue to grow too, so in 2019, in partnership with Dunnville’s GrandErie Home Hardware, they embarked on a large expansion of the store's original 5,000 square feet to around 16,000 square feet and re-opened as Armstrong’s Home Hardware.
Our hope is that all of our visitors will find a full range of quality products with friendly service. Like all Home Hardware stores, our inventory includes housewares, hand and power tools, plumbing and electrical supplies, paint and painting supplies, automotive and farm supplies. We also feature giftware and seasonal items, including lawn and garden supplies.
In addition to all those areas – and unique to Armstrong's Home Hardware– is an expansive Pet department, Wild Bird section, Farm & Country agriculture division and a seasonal Garden Centre!
With a dedication to excellence in product quality and customer service that has made Home famous, Armstrong's strives to ensure your perfect home or rural project, gift idea, or everyday gardening and household items can be found, right here, in Binbrook!

What’s with all the smiling faces? We hear this alot. It might have something to do with being closed on Sundays, or it might be that our co-workers are such terrific people, or it might be our cheery customers, or it might just be something that’s pumped into the air around here...whatever the cause, it sure seems contagious!
